Children's Garden-Wood County District Public Library
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Wood County District Public Library Summer Reading Program: Color Our World.
This project will plant and maintain a colorful, art themed garden bed in the courtyard outside of the Children's Library.
The theme is Color Our World. Our garden will show children how horticulture and flowers can be part of the a journey of art and creativity, celebrating the myriad ways in which art enriches our lives.
Volunteers are needed to choose colorful flowers, plant them and then assist in maintenance of the bed through the summer to ensure that it stays colorful, watered, healthy and looking fresh.
Once enough gardeners sign up, we will meet at the library garden and then go to Bostdorfs to choose plants.
We would like a team of 3 MGVs to work with library staff for this opportunity.
