2025 Tree Tour Walks at Woodlawn Cemetery and Arboretum
Spend the evenings discovering trees! Join OSU Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator, Amy Stone on a 90-minute walking tour at Woodlawn Cemetery and Arboretum. With over 100 different species of trees at Woodlawn, it can be tricky to tell them apart! On the walks, attendees will focus on tree identification and the subtle but easy cues that lead directly to identifying a tree. Learn techniques on diagnosing some common (and maybe not so common) tree problems. Which ones need immediate attention, and which ones are just cosmetic and won’t compromise the health of the tree.
Note* We will be meeting at three distinct locations within the Cemetery to highlight all the Arboretum throughout this popular series! See below for meeting locations:
Meet at the Main Entrance on Central Avenue Tuesday, May 27 from 7 to 8:30 pm /Tuesday, August 26 from 7 to 8:30 pm/ Tuesday, November 25 from 3 to 4:30 pm
